Willie Evans Cox, 59,  Snow Hill, NC, transitioned Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his residence. There will be a wake one hour before the service. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at the Rouse's Abundant Life Ministries in Ayden. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

He  is survived by his sons, Joshua Canty (Summer) Winnabow, NC, Jarvis Canty, Goldsboro, NC, daughter, Stacy Baker, Wilson, NC, brothers, William(Evon) Hagans, Walter (Katie) Hagans, sisters, Saraphinea (William) Sheppard, Hazel Headen, Gwen Wright (Michael) and Phyllis Hagans. A loving and devoted friend had his heart for over 40 years, Juanita Canty. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
