William Earl Johnson, Jr. "Candy Man" 54, Farmville, NC, transitioned Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his residence. There will be a wake held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at the St. John FWB Church in Farmville. Pastor Cedric Frisby will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Farmville.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lane Johnson, Farmville, NC, mother, Joan Johnson Davis, Farmville, NC, daughters, Willicia Johnson, Winterville, NC, Walonda "Peanut" Johnson, Grimesland, NC, brother, Kahlil Barrett, Greenville, NC, sisters, Tonya Dibba, Raleigh, NC, Sharon Johnson, Winterville, NC, Lynette Johnson-Campbell, Louisburg, NC, and Greta Johnson, Raleigh, NC, A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
