Walter Terrell Hawkins, 53,  Snow Hill, NC, transitioned Saturday, December 9, 2023, at his residence.

There will be a  viewing held on Friday, December 15,  2023,  from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. Pastor William Ingram will be officiating. Interment will be in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

He  is survived by his mother Mary Lee Hawkins, Snow Hill, NC, son, Marcus Terrell Hawkins, daughters, Tamerill Hawkins, Makayla Hawkins, brother, Melvin R. Hawkins, Snow Hill, NC, sisters, Mary Ann Hawkins, Snow Hill, NC, Zina B. Hawkins, Snow Hill, NC, a special friend Collette Raye, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
