Serail Pridgen Yelverton, 78, LaGrange passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lovick's Chapel Church AME Zion in the Jason Community. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 1:00 pm also at Lovick's Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, NC. 
 

She is survived by her husband, James (Buddy) Yelverton. Daughters, Angela Yelverton Taylor and Marketa Y. Hargrove all of LaGrange, NC. Grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Monica, Morgan, and Jordan. Great-Grandchild, Erin and a host of other relatives and friends.
