Robert Sheppard, 84, Snow Hill, NC, transitioned at UNC Lenoir Health Care, on July 21, 2024.There will be a walk-in viewing Friday, July 26, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:30 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Thurmand Sheppard will be officiating.

 He is survived by his wife, Barbara Suggs Sheppard, sons, Desmond R. Sheppard, Roderick D. Sheppard, Olijoel Sheppard, Robert Sheppard, Jr., Ricky Sheppard, Curtis Sheppard, daughters, Angelia Sheppard Richardson, Fannie Faircloth, Sharon Sheppard, and brother, Thomas Ray Sheppard. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
