Rayford Shepard, 82, of Snow Hill, NC, " Jason Community" died on Monday, May 31, 2021, at UNC Wayne Health Care. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a wake one hour before the service. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at  2:00 PM at St. Peter FWB Church. Pastor William Thomas will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Shepard, Snow Hill, NC, son, Jerry Shepard, Flordia, daughters, Monica Harris, Norfork, VA, Shelia Williams, Norfork, VA, Laura Sanders, Bronx, NY, sisters, Laura Elliott, Snow Hill, NC, and Mandy Marie Shepard, Snow Hill, NC.
