Paul Connor, Jr., 81, Ayden, NC, transitioned on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. There will be a wake on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 1:30 pm at the Maury Chapel FWB Church in Snow Hill.  Entombment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 12:00 noon.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Lee Connor, Ayden, NC, sons, Derwood Connor, Grimesland, NC, Erick Connor, Ayden, NC, Horace Person, Fayetteville, NC, Quincy Williams, Greenville, NC, Quentin Williams, Atlanta, GA, daughters, Edna Person, Greenville, NC, brothers, Deacon Frederick Connor, Ayden, NC, Deacon Charles Connor, Grifton, NC, Donald Connor, Hamden, CT, sisters, Almissie Jones, Raleigh, NC, Phesther Moore, Ayden, NC, and Mother Linda Howard. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
