Pastor Pineda Avellaneda, 53, died Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 3:00 pm at the S. Connor Funeral Home Chapel.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 1:00 pm also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Valdez Pineda of the home; sons, Thomas Emanuel Pineda, Jesus Pastor Pineda, and Eric Cruz Pineda from Snow Hill; one daughter, Kristina Nicole Pineda also from Snow Hill. His parents, Tomos Pineda Santos and Minerva Avellaneda from Florida; brothers Rumaldo Pineda Avellaneda, Alejandro Pineda Avellaneda, Nicolos Pineda Avellaneda, Felipe Pineda Avellaneda, Casimiro Pineda Avellaneda, and Roman Pineda Avellaneda all from Florida; sisters, Maria Felix Pineda Avellaneda, Eva Pineda Avellaneda, Antonia Pineda Avellaneda, Carmela Pineda Avellaneda, and Onoria Pineda Avellaneda all from Florida along with a host of other relatives and friends.
