Mother Mildred Almeta Suggs Chamberlain, 94, Snow Hill transitioned at her residence on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
There will be a walk-in viewing held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a one-hour visitation before the service. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the Best Chapel FWB Church. Bishop Antonio Blow will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Charles C. Chamberlain, Cleveland Chamberlain, Phillip E. Chamberlain, daughters, Linda C. Cason, Kathie Pierce, brother, Hezekiah Suggs, sisters, Wilma Rice, Yvonne Edwards, Catherine Hobbs, Melba Best, and Annie Hines. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.Floral arrangements and condolences may be sent from our website to the Chamberlain & Suggs family.
