Matthew Thaggard, 64, of LaGrange, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. There will be a walk-in viewing on Friday, from 12 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home chapel, following funeral services on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 3 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Please use your masks, practice social distancing, and enter and exit the side chapel door.

He is survived by his wife Helena Thaggard, of LaGrange, NC, son, Ernest Baker, of Jersey, NJ, daughters, Larnice Treault, of Albany, NY, Jasmine Thaggard, of Jersey, NJ, Elmyria Gill, NJ, brothers, William Thaggard, of Grifton, NC, Bobby Thaggard, of Kinston, NC, Ray Thaggard, of Deep Run, NC, sisters, Wanda Thaggard, of Kinston, NC, Shirley Thaggard, of Kinston, NC, and Sharon, McLauren, of Fayetteville, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
