Mary Marie Moore, 73, Hookerton died June 4, 2018,  at UNC Lenoir Health Care.  A visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 7:00 pm-8:00 pm at Holy Temple Deliverance Church in Walstonburg, NC. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Leventon Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Stantonsburg, NC. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Burial Garden Cemetery in Wilson, NC. 

She is survived by her nine children; daughters, Towana Moore (Jesse) of the home, Yolanda Johnson (Johnny), Mary Johnson, and Antoinette Moore, all of Kinston, NC and Shelia Bryant (Charles) of Fayetteville, NC. Sons, Richard Johnson, Jimmie D. Moore, Jr. (Aminah) of Kinston, NC, Randy Johnson (Sharon) of Wilson, NC, Richard Artis (Ernestine) of Stantonsburg, NC. Three special sons in laws, Jesse, Johnny, Charles. Three sisters, Jesse Mae Atkinson of Dunn, NC, Delorse Lewis of Stantonburg, NC, Angela Graham of Fort Washington, DC and two brothers, Jesse Lee Johnston of Kinston, NC and Carl Johnson of Wilson, NC. With 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, eight aunts, "one special," Lillie Mae Jacobs of Baltimore, Maryland along with seven uncles, ten sisters in laws, seven brothers in laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
