Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 86, Farmville, transitioned, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. There will be a one-hour wake at the church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 16,  2023 at 12:00 PM  at The Original Tabernacle Of Prayer For All People in Goldsboro.  Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Farmville.

 She is survived by her husband, Lester Johnson, Farmville, NC, sons, Lester Johnson, Jr., Raleigh, NC, Tommy Johnson, Raleigh, NC, Michael Johnson, Valdosta, GA, daughters, Mary Lee Johnson, Goldsboro, NC, Lorraine Lucas, Raleigh, NC, Barbara Miles, Raleigh, NC, brother, Jerome Ellis, Baltimore, MD. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
