Mary Alexander, 83, Kinston, NC, transitioned at her residence on Friday, June 28, 2024. There will be a wake one-hour prior to the service. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at the St. James Church of Christ D.O.C. in LaGrange, NC. Bishop Ronnie Hood will be officiating. Interment will be in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

She is survived by her daughter, LaTanya Mitchell, sons, Troy Alexander, Tyrone Alexander sisters, Evelyn Graddy, Barbara Johnson, Eltweena Fields, Juanita Joyner. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
