Martha Jones, 91, Snow Hill, died Friday, September 14, 2018, at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 2 PM at St. James AME Zion Church, 403 W. Harper St., Snow Hill, NC. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Cain D. Burgess, Jr., of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren, Jacqueline Burgess of Lawrenceville, GA, Jocelyn Burgess of Elizabethtown, NC and Jasmine Autry of Fayetteville, NC.  A host of other relatives and friends.
