Margaret Jean Ray, 61, of LaGrange, NC, died on Friday, July 23, 2021, at her residence. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing. There will be a viewing on July 29, 2021, from 1 PM to7 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. There will be a graveside service on July 30, 2021, at 9 AM at the St. Delight Cemetery in Walstonburg. Pastor Rachel Barrett will be officiating. 

She is survived by her father, James Ray, Snow Hill, NC, mother,  Mary Best Ray, Snow Hill, NC, daughter, Shanta Johnson, Creedmoor, NC, brothers, John Ray, Snow Hill, NC, Tyrone Ray, Raleigh, NC, William Ray, Fayetteville, NC, sisters, Vernestine Artis, Raleigh, NC, and Mary Cannon, Snow Hill, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
