Marcus Kevin Best, 49, Goldsboro, died at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM at St. Delight United Holy  Church in LaGrange. There will be a one-hour wake prior to the service.   Bishop Devin C. Pickett, Sr. will be officiating. The interment will follow in the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens in Pikeville, NC.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaycia Best, South Carolina, mother Linda Best Bass, Goldsboro, NC, sisters, Tiffani Freeman, Goldsboro, NC, Kayla Bass, Goldsboro, NC, Trinity Bass, Goldsboro, NC, brothers, Anthony Best, Goldsboro, NC, Lafayette Best, Goldsboro, NC, Marquez Bass, Goldsboro, NC, Isaiah Bass, Goldsboro, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
