Mallie "Mattie" Swinson Smith, 85, of Goldsboro, NC, "formally of Snow Hill" died on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at her residence. A walk-in viewing will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 3 PM to 6 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Rites will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, at 1 PM at  Snow Hill Cemetery in Snow Hill. Rev. Edwin Ferguson will be officiating. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing for viewing and service.

She is survived by her son, Reggie Strong, College Park, GA, daughter, Deborah Strong, Goldsboro, NC, foster daughter,  Lee Evely Green, Santiago, TX, brother, Charles Swinson, Charlotte, NC, sisters, Merice S. Edwards, Snow Hill, NC, Jackie S. Parks, Snow Hill, NC, Edwina S. Exum, Kinston, NC and Wanda Burt,  Oceanside, CA. A host of other relatives and friends.
