Loretta Bynum,61, of Snow Hill, NC, "Jason Community" died on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center. A wake will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 3 PM at the St. Mary FWB Church in LaGrange, NC. Interment will follow in the Wade Cemetery in LaGrange, NC.

She is survived by her mother, Velma Bynum, Irvington, NJ, sons, Sa'Maad Bynum (India Bynum), Wake Forest, NC, Malcolm Dawson, Snow Hill, NC, daughters, Rashidah Bynum, Snow Hill, NC, Kaniya Blay, Snow Hill, NC, brothers, Gary Bynum, Irvington, NJ, Alan Bynum, Irvington, NJ, sisters, Carolyn Lawson, Snow Hill, NC, Pamela Harris, Newark, NJ, and Delores Bynum, Newark NJ. GrandChildren, Sa'Maad Bynum, Sean Bynum, Malani Dawson. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
