Leroy Murrell, Sr., 77,  Pollocksville, transitioned, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his residence.    A walk-in viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church in Pollocksville, NC. Interment will follow in the Haiti Cemetery in Trenton, NC.

He  is survived by his wife, Janice Chadwick Murrell, Pollocksville, NC, son, Anthony Murrell, Raleigh, NC, daughters, Theria Murrell Lindsey, Raleigh, NC, Yolanda Murrell, Pollocksville, NC, brother, Jerry Murrell, Trenton, NC, sisters, Maxine Murrell, Trenton, NC, Alice Murrell, Trenton, NC, Therodora Murrell, Trenton, NC, and Barbara Murrell Flemmings, Indian Trail, NC. A host of  grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
