LaMonte Connor, 82, Bronx, NY, (formerly of Greene County) transitioned on Monday, October 14, 2024, at his residence. There will be a wake on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the Maury Chapel FWB Church 4582 Highway 123 North in Snow Hill. Pastor Gregory Derik Moore will be officiating. Interment will follow in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 12:00 noon.

He is survived by Sylvia Ann Connor, his sons, Adrian Lamonte (Anne) Connor, Herndon, VA, Charlton Marc Connor, MD, sisters, Selena Murphy, Durham, NC, Janet Connor, Hookerton, NC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
