Kathleen Lewis Powell, 97, Goldsboro died Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 5 pm to 6 pm at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 1 pm, Bryan Holy Tabernacle Church, 1848 Browntown Rd. Snow Hill, NC. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC. 

She is survived by her children, Jimmie Powell, Sr. of Goldsboro, and Stella P. Redwine. Grandchildren, Tonya P. Hedgspeth, Jimmie Powell, Jr., and Diwanda Godwin. Great-Grandchildren, Tiara Powell Moore, Shakira Hill, Devontae Sutton, Jimea Sims, and Danneka Sutton. A host of other relatives and friends.
