Julio Gamas Torruco, 69, of Snow Hill, NC, died on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center. Social distancing and face masks are required at the service.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 12 PM to 7 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. We are asking that everyone enter and exits the chapel at the side door. Interment will follow in the Gamas Family Cemetery in Snow Hill. 

He is survived by his wife Elvira Perez, of Snow Hill, NC, sons, Pedro Gamas, of Stantonsburg, NC, Jesus Gamas, of Wilson, NC, daughters, Adela Gamas, of Wilson, NC, Naracedalia Gamas, of Wilson, NC, Esther Gamas, of Snow Hill, NC, and Erika Gamas, of Wilson, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
