Jimmie Lee Powell, 67, Goldsboro died, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at  11 AM at S.Connor  Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 83 Circle Dr. Snow Hill, NC. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018, 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Powell of Goldsboro, NC, Children, Jimmie Powell, Jr., of LaGrange, NC, Tonya Hedgepeth of LaGrange, NC, and Diawanda Goodwin of Goldsboro, NC. Brothers, James Hooks, Jr., of New Jersey, and Melvin Hooks of Clinton, NC. Sisters, Evelyn Brown of Hugo, NC, Callie Leonard of Kinston, NC, and Regina Jones of Kinston, NC.
