Jesse James Sneed, 67, Walstonburg, NC, transitioned at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. on August 10, 2024. 

 There will be a walk-in viewing Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Sneed, Walstonburg, NC, son, Marcus Bryant, daughter, Tanya Little, Maury, NC, brother, Billy Wayne Yelverton, Wilson, NC, sisters, Barbara Barron, Wilson, NC, Sadie Tuten, Snow Hill, NC, Julia Swinson, Snow Hill, NC, Mertie Sneed, Raleigh, NC, Ella Bost, Harrisburg, NC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
