Jeffery Craine Best, 52, LaGrange, NC, died on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Wayne UNC Health Care. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 2 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. There will be a one-hour wake prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Lodge Hall Cemetery in Snow Hill. Pastor Marlene Duncan will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Best, LaGrange, NC, mother, Jacqueline Best, Maury, NC, daughter, Toni Best, LaGrange, NC, sons, Dawntrell Rasberry, Winterville, NC, Marcus Sugg, Greenville, NC, sisters, Deborah Jones, Grifton, NC, and Angela Smith, Snow Hill, NC. A host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
