James Earl Brown, 67, Snow Hill, transitioned on Friday, March 14, 2025, ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. There will be a viewing on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brown, Snow Hill, NC, son, Roger Brown, daughters, Tammy Bizzell, Cintasha Dodd, brothers, Hakeen Brown, Aaron Brown, Jr., Bobby Brown, Arthur Brown, sisters, Ernestine D. Coward, Carol J. Taylor, Irene F. Sauls, Brenda Brown. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
