Ida Pearl Barfield 80, died Thursday, August 23, 2018, at her residence.  A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 1 pm at Little Creek Church Disciples of Christ in Ayden, NC. Interment will follow in the Artis Cemetery in Grifton, NC.  A wake will be an hour before the funeral. 

She is survived by her husband, William Earl Barfield, a son Lenwood Haddock and one sister, Gaynell Smith.
