Elder George Deloatch, Sr.,78, LaGrange, transitioned, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence. There will be a walk-in viewing on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at the Best Chapel FWB Church in Snow Hill. Eldress JoAnn Artis Stevens will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Pearl Deloatch, LaGrange, NC, two sons, Johnnie
McGee (Anna) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ret. MSG George Deloatch, Jr. (LaTonya) of Fayetteville,
NC; four daughters, Diane Cox (Major) of Snow Hill, NC, Louise Cox (Douglas) of Goldsboro,
NC, Ethel Pearl Dixon (Willie) of LaGrange, NC, Beverly Urquhart (Lonnie) of Pine Level, NC;
four brothers, Tech Lomond Graham (Rose), Roy Campanella Graham (Veronica), Michael
Angelo Graham of Rocky Mount, NC, Ret. MSG Bob Mitchell Graham (Lucretia) of Dale City,
VA; three sisters, Bernice Noble (Roosevelt) of Tarboro, NC, Marilyn Maxine Graham of
Rocky Mount, NC, Annie Marie Kent (Nelson) of Wilson, NC; 6 brother in laws, 2 sister in
laws, 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces,
nephews, family and friends.
