Ellis Daley Sutton

LaGrange- Ellis Daley Sutton 73, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at  UNC Wayne Health Care. Funeral services will held on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 11 am at St. Rest Holiness Church in LaGrange. A viewing will be on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the funeral home from 3 pm until 6 pm. Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston. In Lieu of flowers monetary (tax deductible), donations in honor of Ellis D. Sutton can be made to LaGrange Frink Alumni and Friends Association. Personal Care by S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home in Snow Hill. 

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Minnie D. Sutton who he referred to as “Honey”; three special children he adopted into his life, Annetta (Clifton) Frizzell he referred to as “Baby Girl” of Greensboro, NC; Torrey (Leslea) Dudley he referred to as “My Boy” of Goldsboro, NC; Sharon Williams of Goldsboro, NC.  Three brothers, Thomas (Lauvenia) Sutton of Greenville, NC; Kenneth Sutton of Goldsboro, NC; and Ronnie (Vickie) of LaGrange; a godson, Sherman Dudley Jr.; a host of brother-in-law’s; sister-in-law’s; nephews, nieces, cousins; two best friends-Robert Washington, Larry Johnson; three individuals that stayed close over the years and especially during his illness: Teresa Williams; Angela Dudley and Tonia Williams and a grand host of other relatives and friends.
