Elder Gerry Levon Wootson, 48, of Richmond, VA, (formerly of LaGrange) died on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Chippenham Hospital. Please wear your face masks and practice social distancing. There will be a walk-in viewing on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill, NC. The celebration of life service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11 AM at Deeper Life Church Ministries in Goldsboro, NC. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC.

He is survived by his mother, Carrie Mae Wootson, Goldsboro, NC, fiance', LaTisha Johnson, Richmond, VA, brother, Deacon Derrick Wootson, Goldsboro, NC, and sister, LeSheryl Wootson, Charlotte, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
