Claudie L. Suggs, 78, of Snow Hill, NC, died on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Lenoir UNC Health Care. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing. 

There will be a walk-in viewing on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside rites will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Snow Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Clara Sutton Suggs, LaGrange, NC, son, Donald Suggs, West Haven, CT, daughter, Denise Suggs, Hamden, CT, brother, King Hezekiah Suggs, Jr., Capitol Heights, MD, sisters, Mildred Chamberlain, Raleigh, NC, Wilma Rice, Wilson, NC, Eyvonne Edwards, Snow Hill, NC, Catherine Hobbs, Mebane, NC, Melba Best, LaGrange, NC, Annie Hines, New Haven, CT.  A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
