Clarence Croom, Jr., 78, Hookerton, died October 28, 2021, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks during the service.

On Friday, November 5, 2021, there will be a visitation from 6 PM to 7 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. On Saturday, November 6, 2021, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Antioch Church of Christ. Pastor Donnie McLean will be officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Faison Croom, Hookerton, NC, sons, Terrance Croom, Kinston, NC, Ricky Suggs, Hookerton, NC, daughter, Martina Croom, Durham, NC, brothers, Robert Croom, Roselle, NJ, William Frank Croom, Chesapeake, VA, sisters, Devone Croom Connor, Hookerton, NC, Annie Faye Thomas, Snow Hill, NC, Patricia Louise Barrett, Raleigh, NC, and Jackie Wade, Washington, DC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
