Charlie Cannon, Jr., 85, Snow Hill, NC, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 6 PM to 7 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 12 PM at the Salisbury AME Zion Church in Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Charles Cannon, Jr. of Snow Hill, NC, Richard E. Cannon of Farmville, NC, William T. Cannon of Maury, NC, Alton R. Cannon of Framing, Mass, Dr. Dwight B. Cannon of Dudley, NC, Gail D. Thomas of Savannah, GA, and Nell A. Cannon of Maryland. A host of other relatives and friends.
