Annie Roberta Smith Monroe, 80,  formerly of Hookerton, NC, died on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Please wear your face mask and practice social distancing. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Graveside rites will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 11 AM at Shady Grove Lodge Cemetery Lodge Hall Rd. in Snow Hill, NC. Pastor Marvin Taylor will be officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Lee Monroe, Hanover, MD, son, Darryl Jerome Monroe, Jefferson, MD, daughter, Adriene Lyons, Halethorpe, MD, sister, RosylynSmith Goings, Goldsboro, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
