Annie Lee Suggs Broadhurst, 85, Rochester, NY, formerly of Snow Hill, NC, transitioned Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY.  There will be a  viewing at the church Thursday, November 16,  2023,  from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held  at 1:00 PM at the Lovick's Chapel AME Zion Church in LaGrange, NC. Pastor Scottie Rodgers will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, NC.

She  is survived by her daughter, Linda Suggs, Rochester, NY, sons, Steward Broadhurst, Jr. (Shirley) Rochester, NY, Wendell Broadhurst (Cassandra) Rochester, NY,  brother, David Waters, Dudley, NC, sisters, Bettie Dawson, Wilson, NC, Evelyn Waters, Forestville, MD, Barbara Andrews (Thomas) Raleigh, NC, Carolyn Logan, Goldsboro, NC, Annie Battle (William) Garner, NC, A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
